The items for the swap are just about finished. I have 6 snowman stitch markers, 1 skein of lovely squishy yarn, an almost finished project bag, a almost started tool kit, a skein of hand spun yarn, slightly over spun but awesome, and I think that may be it. Greetings all Just a short post to update all the crafty goodness. There's lots and lots of hats being knit and crocheted for the Podcaster Throwdown Halos for Hope. I've completed 3 hats for team Knotty Knitters and I've got one more on the hook right now. I'm also gathering items for the Savvy Girls Swapetition. I found some lovely, soft and squishy yarn in a beautiful blue, I'm working on a knitters tool kit, snowmen stitch markers and there's a project bag in the works. I'll be taking Monty out for a spin soon as I'd like to add some hand spun to the mix for the swap. Still knitting on the red striped cardigan and socks so nothing new there.

A long time coming

It has been a long time since I even thought about blogging. So. . .what's been happening in the crafty world? Lots of knitting time, I'm working on the Mystery Knit for June 2013 from Craftsy. It's a pretty straight forward lace cowl, knit with a very fine very soft and squish yarn. Not sure I'm loving it just yet but we shall see. Monty and I have done a little spinning, I plan on using my latest 2 ply for the Summer Mystery Shawl from Wendy Knits. It's a lovey 2 ply in green. I still have a long way to go but it is a fun journey. I have a pair of knit 3 purl 3 socks on the needles out of the Goth Socks CSI yarn. An awesome black and green stripy yarn with just a bit of red here and there. These socks are for me. And the last thing on the needles is a pair of socks for my sister. Kind of a payback for some lovely furniture that came my way. I have a bear in the works made out of a lovey mouton coat. Just waiting for a dry day to lay the coat out and cut pieces, maybe this weekend if it every stops raining. More later, lot and lots of things waiting in the wings and maybe a guest blogger in the near future.
